Event! unleashed a dedicated store for DanTDM, which tempted lots of fans to show their allegiance, by buying cool products, created by us.

Since Hull was voted the city of Culture for 2017 there has been events around the city such as gigs in local venues, literature festivals and art exhibitions. Event felt the love for this resurgence and so it was decided that Event would join forces with Hull 2017 to produce the official merchandise for Hull, The UK City of Culture.
Our first step was producing a core range of apparel and accessories. We also went onto to open a dedicated merchandise shop in House of Fraser, the main shopping complex.
Since the merchandise has been available, the culture vultures have come in and swept it up. There has been a real patriotic response with customers, proudly wearing their Hull garments.
This has led to Event recently expanding the range to include additional apparel, aprons, postcards, ceramics, tea towels, and bouncy balls.
Next thing you know, commuters were seeing billboards of our merchandise advertised en route to work!

In this year’s IAAF World Championships, athletes such as Dina Asher Smith, Adam Gemili, and Eilidh Doyle recouped 6 medals for Great Britain. We won the Gold in the Men’s 4x100m relay and Men’s 10,000m. We took the Silver in the Men’s 5000m, Women’s 4x400m relay, and the Women’s 4x100m relay. Lastly, we claimed the Bronze in the Men’s 4×400 relay. Customers who visited the British Athletics Official Merchandise Shop were prized with an in-house Mo. He got quite a lot of action!
Setting up the British Athletics Official Merchandise Shop, us at Event were in a race against the clock to open up shop. We made quick moves and drilled all our resources, finishing with a winning store that hosted some Great British Athletes and excited fans.
On Wednesday, we received a visit from Sarah McDonald (1,500m) and Aly Dixon (marathon). They chatted, took pictures, and signed autographs for the fans.
Thursday saw the highly anticipated, Josh Griffiths (marathon) and Andrew Davies (marathon) pass by. They attracted quite a crowd into the shop.
The shop greeted some passionate fans. Most were on their way to the stadium, to shout and cheer (and possibly bump into Usain Bolt). Some were retiring to their sofa, securing a clear view of all the action. Either way, these customers made sure to #REPRESENT the British Athletics team, at the IAAF Word Championship, in London 2017.
All-in-all, there were many wins during London 2017. The British Athletics Official Merchandise Shop is celebrating all the lovely people that turned up and spread good vibes throughout this event. Thank you for coming!

Whilst others were relaxing on the weekend, EML were beavering away, setting up stands and selling merchandise for two huge events. We had members of our team voyaging on quests across the globe. We thrive on these epic journeys and opportunities to sell merchandise in some extraordinary and beautiful countries.
First stop, the stunning sights of St Tropez, France where we were the official merchandisers for Harley Davidson. The HD event was the Euro Festival which saw Harley members travel from as far as America to attend the event. Despite a day of rain, the bikers were in a great mood, packing out our shop to pick up their pre-ordered rally packs and browsing our range of accessories and new & vintage apparel.
Check out this vid, walking round our shop! Plus we have an online webshop for anyone wanting Euro fest merch- shop
Whilst we had guys cooking up a sweat in France setting up the shop, we had a drive from St Tropez to Monaco to begin work on the Formula E merchandise tent. Formula E is accelerating into the limelight, catching the eye of car-racing fans across the world. FE has branched out to America this year, and fans are adoring the merchandise. Check out some snaps from the event!
In the last few weeks, the UK has gone crazy over the new ‘must have product.’ Fidget spinners have stormed the UK markets and are literally the toy on everyone’s fingers. People are realising the potential benefits of having a toy spinner, whether that is in a primary school classroom or a sweaty office. The fidget spinners can spark creative energy, help workers to focus, and can even be a tool to distract from dirty habits (don’t make us list them off!).
We wanted to introduce this hot new product to our clients. The spinner certainly caught the eye with a particular somebody.
YouTube sensation DanTD fell in love with the fidget spinner! He couldn’t believe the hype surrounding them and wanted to present fans the chance of having their own DanTDM branded spinner.
The vlogger phenomenon posted this video last night at 9pm. Once the video went live, fans went bonkers purchasing the toy.
Dan fanatics have the choice between a blue or black toy spinner, see images below. By midnight both spinners had sold out but here at EML we are quick to re-order stock, making sure customers are not left empty handed. Why not brand your own fidget spinner? promofidgetspinner.com
On Sunday 23rd April, London came together for the 37th London Marathon. The organisers reported a total number of 40,382 runners, a record number of participants.
The sun was shinning all day as swarms of supporters filled the streets of London, cheering on families and friends running from all over the world.
Amongst the bustling crowds were the royal trio, sporting their Heads Together jackets, who were high-fiving runners, fully embracing the occasion and perhaps getting involved a bit too much.
Heads Together, supported by the Royal Foundation, is a campaign inspiring charities that provide frontline mental health support. The campaigns aims to aid and change the stigma attached to mental health illnesses. We are proud to have seen the Royal Foundation backing this hugely important campaign.
This year was another successful year for the London Marathon. Check out this noble act of one runner helping an exhausted fellow competitor cross the finish line!

Starting out as a freelancer in the world of retail and exhibition displays, Martin saw an opportunity to start up his own business in branded concert merchandise in the UK, in conjunction with his brother Harvey Goldsmith– well known promoter in the music industry.
Martin Goldsmith, Founder Chairman of EML: “I approached Cliff Richard whose words still ring in my ears- ‘Who in the hell wants to buy a T-Shirt with my face on it?’ 40 years later the fans are still buying his swag.”
One of Martin’s greatest days was trading at Wembley Stadium- World Wrestling Federation Summer Slam 1992 (professional wrestling), selling an impressive £1m+. His most pleasurable times have been working with Pavarotti and Live Aid amongst a whole host of renowned artist and events.
Martin has taken a step back from the fast paced merchandise industry, enjoying life loving tennis and jazz (and keeping the office tidy!), whilst the company continues to grow in the hands of his son’s Jeremy and Paul, with the support from a fantastic and loyal team of course!
From past legends such as Stevie Wonder, David Bowie, Eric Clapton, Three Tenors, Stars of Classical Music and National Theatre, EML continues to keep legendary status by working with the present- Harley Davidson, Formula E and Tough Mudder to name a few.
EML works in partnership with some of the world’s most recognised brands and events. Our services range from designing and manufacturing creative products for corporate requirements to selling at live events, from devising licensing programmes to running online shops globally. Event Merchandising prides itself on its ability to listen to the needs of the client, offer a remarkable customer experience and deliver goods and services that elevate a company’s brand perception. Our clients are in industries such as sport, entertainment, corporate, film and charities. They range from one off consumer orders to brands such as London 2010, BBC, the Rugby World Cup to Rio 2016.
When February rolls round here at Event HQ we start getting very excited! We start designing and producing merchandise for one of the biggest music events of the year- The BRITs.
This year was another huge hit for the BRITs. The music industry and members of the public congregated at London’s O2 Arena to celebrate another fantastic year for the global chart music. The night was dominated by legend David Bowie, who sadly died last January. The iconic soloist won ‘Best British Male,’ and ‘Best British Album,’ for his stunning album ‘BlackStar.’
This year saw ‘Grime’ enter the fold with grime artist Skepta at the helm and will no doubt be a favourited nominee for BRITs 2018. The 1975 won ‘Best Group’ whilst X Factor girl star group Little Mix won ‘Best Single,’ for the smash hit ‘Shout Out To My Ex.’
Brighton star Rag n Bone Man has had a phenomenal year and undoubtedly won ‘British Breakthrough Act,’ and was 2017’s Critics Choice. Finally, the music industry paid their respects to ‘George Michael,’ with a fitting tribute by Chris Martins Coldplay.
You can see the full list of winners here.
You can still purchase BRITs merch here on our web shop- WEB SHOP
