Pernod Ricard’s Beefeater Pink Gin

Beefeater Pink, a deliciously new strawberry flavoured dry gin was launched in 2018. The campaign launched with outdoor, digital

, on-trade and social media presence initially in Spain and the UK with further markets over the summer.

As part of the campaign in London, Event merchandising was asked to create a special giveaway at a tasting event in London, to promote the brand’s fashionable London roots and urban lifestyle culture.

Event merchandising created a beautiful and vibrant silk scarf using Beefeater Pink’s brand design which boasts fashion and fun, appealing to the more adventurous gin consumers.

The scarf was well received by those who love all things sweet and pink!

The 2017 London Marathon saw a record number of runners who received rousing royal support.

On Sunday 23rd April, London came together for the 37th London Marathon. The organisers reported a total number of 40,382 runners, a record number of participants.

The sun was shinning all day as swarms of supporters filled the streets of London, cheering on families and friends running from all over the world.

Amongst the bustling crowds were the royal trio, sporting their Heads Together jackets, who were high-fiving runners,  fully embracing the occasion and perhaps getting involved a bit too much.

Heads Together, supported by the Royal Foundation, is a campaign inspiring charities that provide frontline mental health support. The campaigns aims to aid and change the stigma attached to mental health illnesses. We are proud to have seen the Royal Foundation backing this hugely important campaign.

This year was another successful year for the London Marathon. Check out this noble act of one runner helping an exhausted fellow competitor cross the finish line!

What a Month of Sporting Event Merchandising

What a fantastic month of sport it has been and Event have been at the heart of it all.

Event have yet again been at the forefront of sports merchandising and have been involved in some fantastic sporting moments this year. Where to begin…

BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA - FEBRUARY 06: Sam Bird of DS Virgin Racing Formula E Team celebrates at the podium after winning the Buenos Aires ePrix as part of 2015-2016 FIA Formula E Championship at Puerto Madero Street Race Track on February 06, 2016 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Lets reverse back to the first weekend in February where Event were zooming round Buenos Aires in Argentina, South America, for Formula-E. Then the next day we flew all the way back to London, got a quick train to the trendy Camden town to sell some merch for the 2016 Super bowl. It was kinda a good excuse to watch and cheer on too…

Then we had two amazing weekends with the British Athletics in Glasgow and Sheffield, selling a range of products for the fans.

Now we are in March, (already?!) and we have already witnessed success at UCI 2016 World Track Championship. We would like to congratulate Laura Trott who produced a thrilling win in the women’s surge race at the roaring velodrome. We still have a weekend of breathtaking cycling to come with the likes of Sir Bradley Wiggins still to feature- we have named our teddy bear after the Olympic and Tour De France champ. Take a look here.

Plus Mr Murray is back in action for Great Britain in the Davis Cup hosted in Birmingham. There are thousands of British fans are cheering on the team wearing our #BacktheBrits t-shirts. C’MON ANDY! He’s in winning form- who’s the daddy 😉

Tonight we are off to watch some Mexican wrestling, LUCHA BRITANNIA!

The Sedex Conference 2016

Event took a trip to the capital to what was an intuitive conference offering advice and the opportunity to network with a variety of brands and suppliers alike.

Sourcing can be a tricky realm of work, with the risk of overcomplicating things. #Sedex16 was an inspection and digestion into how to identify connections and simplify approaches to supply chain sustainability in the best way possible. The 2 day event was a chance for leaders from all over the globe to hear from organisations at all levels of the supply chain, government, the third sector and more. There were insightful workshops, intriguing plenary sessions, superb spotlight talks and the chance for leaders to network efficiently.

Representing Event at the Barbican was our director Paul Goldsmith who said:

“we take our supply chain very seriously and we are working closely with our factories to make sure our stock is actioned ethically and sustainably, so the conference proved helpful in gaining further information and advice on fulfilling this.”

The BRITS

The BRITS

It’s 3 years on the trot for Event producing the merch for the BRITs and this year was another triumph. The t-shirts featured nominee emoji’s and also had their relevant hashtags, which were all over Twitter on the night! Our web shop is still selling so why not have a gander and see what we have got for you? *LittleMix fans- T-shirts are now at £15…wink wink, nudge nudge.

After running around the O2 for hours with our feet covered in blisters, we finally got to enjoy the spectacle of the night. Ant and Dec were hilarious! The Weeknd rocked the BRITS School, Coldplay got everyone dancing and Bieber, well it was hard to hear Bieber over his screaming fans! Adele was the queen of the awards on the night and David Bowie was honoured well by Gary Oldman, Annie Lennox and a mesmerising tribute from Lorde.

See below the video of the talented James Bay performing ‘Hold Back The River.’

Check out our Facebook page to see all our pictures from the night and don’t forget, merchandise is still available online.

The TNA Weekend

Our first event into the new year is a lively one, ‘Hit him with the chair?!’ That’s right, TNA is back this weekend, and is wrestling its way across the UK.

Here at Event! we like rummaging through our back catalogue, finding forgotten gems and stumbling upon the rarity. This week it was our mission to find some one-of-a-kind wrestling merch to show you all, and look what we found…

WWF Wrestling Collection

WWF Wrestling Collection

Cast your mind back to the glory days when ‘Hollywood’ Hulk Hogan was under the management of the charismatic Jimmy Hart. Jimmy decided to split from Hogan and in the process of doing so, he curated ‘The Ultimate Wrestling Collection.’ Inside were discs containing classic championship matches from Florida and Memphis. Jimmy also included a selection of his favourite hit tunes and theme music as well as lost episodes of wrestling action from XWF. There were over 100 wrestling stars and legends featured in this collection including; ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper, Jerry Lawler, Konnan and Hulk Hogan.WF-Red-Bear-front

We also found some World Wrestling Federation TY Bears. These bears are of iconic wrestlers like Kane and Shamrock.

TNA starts at the Manchester Arena tomorrow night, then close-lining it’s way to London’s SSE Wembley Arena, before tapping out in Birmingham’s Barclaycard Arena on Sunday. Tickets are still available if you want some thrilling and entertaining ringside action. For more pictures and information from the event, see our Facebook page.
