Love Supreme 2019

On the weekend of the 5th – 7th July 2019, Love Supreme held the 7th year of Love Supreme, a jazz festival that takes place in Glynde Place, East Sussex since 2013.

The festival founded by Ciro Romano, has hosted major jazz and soul artists such as Herbie Hancock, Earth Wind & Fire, Grace Jones, Jamie Cullum, Gregory Porter, Melody Gardot and Chaka Khan.

This year, the attendees enjoyed 3 days of music in the sun, with a one of a kind line-up consisting of Ms. Lauryn Hill, The Cinematic Orchestra, Gladys Knight, Jamie Cullum, Snarky Puppy and Jimmy Cliff among others.

 

At Love Supreme, the concerts take place on 4 stages : the Main Stage whic features headliners, The Big Top, which host the best international Jazz artists, The Arena, that introduces the newest talents and The Bandstand, that present locals bands and artists

Love Supreme offers many others activities, such as talks and lectures,dance classes, films, kids areas and a highly sought after glamping area.

Found in the charming village of Glynde and set against the back drop of an Elizabethan manor house, Glynde Places ample grounds provide the perfect setting for The Love Supreme Jazz Festival. Situated just outside of Lewes and just a 5 minute walk from Glynde train station, the site is less than an hours train journey from London and under half an hour from Brighton.

An enchanting piece of classic English country living, Glynde Place has been nestled amongst the stunning South Downs for over 400 years. Now, in 2013, the grounds will come alive once more as it welcomes Jazz fans from around the country.

This world-class programme will be combined with a festival experience that will celebrate the culture of jazz. From the very best in food and drink to the influence of Jazz on film and dance, The Love Supreme Jazz Festival will create and one-of-a-kind, family-friendly experience that will welcome all Jazz fans from across the country.
