The 2017 London Marathon saw a record number of runners who received rousing royal support.
On Sunday 23rd April, London came together for the 37th London Marathon. The organisers reported a total number of 40,382 runners, a record number of participants.
The sun was shinning all day as swarms of supporters filled the streets of London, cheering on families and friends running from all over the world.
Amongst the bustling crowds were the royal trio, sporting their Heads Together jackets, who were high-fiving runners, fully embracing the occasion and perhaps getting involved a bit too much.
Heads Together, supported by the Royal Foundation, is a campaign inspiring charities that provide frontline mental health support. The campaigns aims to aid and change the stigma attached to mental health illnesses. We are proud to have seen the Royal Foundation backing this hugely important campaign.
This year was another successful year for the London Marathon. Check out this noble act of one runner helping an exhausted fellow competitor cross the finish line!
